About Retuno E Maa Organization (REMO)

At Retuno e Maa, we support communities throughout Tanzania with projects that improve daily life — from vital resources and education to environmental protection — always with commitment to those most in need.

Who We Are

REMO is a registered Tanzanian non-governmental organisation (NGO), founded in 2024 by Emmanuel Saitoti. The name Retuno e Maa comes from the Maasai language — Retuno means helping, and e Maa represents the wider community we stand with.

Our Vision

1 - Implement sustainable water solutions through well drilling and rainwater harvesting to improve community health and sanitation.

2 - Establish ICT classes that equip students with essential digital skills, fostering innovation and enhancing educational outcomes.

3 - Initiate tree planting programs and establish garbage collection centers to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

4 - Provide reusable sanitary pads and sports gear to school girls, ensuring their health, dignity, and participation in physical activities.

5 - Implement initiatives aimed at enhancing women's skills and economic opportunities, fostering leadership and self-reliance.
